Tax Attorney (In House)
Work closely with CPAs and other tax attorneys on business and income tax planning projects for multinational corporate clients and investors; Provide tax services for clients in international import/export trade and in-bound and out- bound transactions; Implement tax strategies that align with the client’s business objectives, corporate tax, pass-through entities, trust, estate, and industry focus; Provide tax planning services for Chinese individuals immigrating to the United States; Conduct independent research of U.S. and Chinese tax laws as needed to support clients’ tax positions; Evaluate and advise on tax implications, risks and opportunities of ongoing and new worldwide business activities, including interpretation of tax provisions, negotiations and drafting of tax-related language in agreements to optimize domestic and foreign tax benefits to clients; Represent various types of entities including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and not-for-profit organizations before tax bureau.
40 hours per week. Position in Redmond, WA.
Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. Admission to any Bar of the United States with eligibility to be registered as “House Counsel” with the Washington State Bar. Must possess Certificate evidencing passage of China’s National Judicial Exam.
